Gilda was a griffin who only appeared in an episode on the Ask Jappleack Blog. She was killed when a nyan version of Rainbow Dash went right through her head.
History
Jappleack was telling everyone how awesome Gilda was and that she was going to be answering questions with her, until a nyan Rainbow Dash flew right threw her head, killing her. ("Ask Jappleack")
Her tombstone is seen in the Ponyville Cemetery along with Derpy Hooves, Rainbow Dash, Applebloom, and Winona. ("MAGIC.MOV")
